Cleaning Windows Products

You can use commercial or natural products to clean windows. Commercial products are easy to use as long as you follow the directions and guidelines on the label. Use products specifically made for cleaning windows and glass, other products could leave smudges and streaks on the windows.

Or you can use good old hot, soapy water. Just add a small amount of dishwashing liquid to hot water.

You’ll need a clean soft cloth for buffing up the window and making it shine. For window that are higher up you can use a squeegee which also protect against scratches.

• Prepare for window cleaning by removing any items from the windowsills and tying back curtains.
• Apply the cleaning product but not too much.
• Using a clean, soft cloth remove the cleaning products, start at the top of the window and work your way down in circles or small strokes to not leave streaks behind.
