How to Clean Copper Cookware

Lemons and Salt

Cut a lemon in half and then sprinkle sea salt or coarse salt on the lemon. Use it to scrub the copper surface to make the copper bright once again. Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Flour, Salt, Vinegar

Want shiny copper? Then rub it with a mixture of flour, coarse salt and vinegar and polish with a soft cloth.

Tomato Ketchup

Copper can be cleaned using tomato ketchup because it contains vinegar which helps clean the copper. Apply a thick layer of tomato ketchup on the copper product, leave for a few minutes and then rinse with warm water.
